We care about our community and that is why we choose to get involved in these local outreach opportunities.

Family Promise

Danville Friends Church is joining Family Promise and local community efforts to help homeless families regain their housing, their independence, and their dignity.  The number of homeless in Hendricks County is staggering.  The fact that it includes children,  makes it heartbreaking.

Family Promise is an opportunity to help.  Being a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ teaches that opportunities can bless without measure.  Matthew 25: 35-40   We are a part of spreading love and hope but we want to especially be an example.  We desire to be servants of God's caring for His families.  Join us and leave feeling thankful and blessed.

New Beginnings

Danville Friends Church started a community outreach program March 10th, 2019  to help those in need with seasonal clothing and necessities.  Our clothing is in excellent condition, some still with the original tags and all undergarments are brand new.  The hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday,  Noon to 3 PM, as well as by appointment and/or upon request.   For more information or in case an emergency results in an immediate need for clothing etc., please call 317-745-5348 (church) or 317-696-0962 (Alicia Mardis).  If we cannot fulfill your need, we can help find someone who can.  We want to help you & your family so please give us a call.
